Joyful Noise opened up in theater’s almost two weeks ago.
Quick summary: It’s Sister Act 2, mixed with Glee, with a little Romeo and Juliet thrown in there. If you like music, and you like a good story, you’ll like this movie. Continue reading “Let’s Make a Joyful Noise!” »
You know how when you’re on the road, and some other driver speeds past you or does something stupid, and you think to yourself, “Where are the police when you need them?”
Well, I thought that tonight on the way to work, and was immediately given an answer…they we’re right behind me. Continue reading “Go Speedracer!” »
So in the uproar over SOPA and PIPA…I have switched from GoDaddy…so my site is under construction while I transfer files and rebuild settings.…please bear with me.
So I realized recently that I never made a blog post about the fire that happened behind our house. Mobile home fires are common, but this was the first time it was so very close to us…and the first time the same house caught fire twice. Continue reading “And it Burns, Burns, Burns.…” »

Tonight I blacked out and fell.
Only the second time in my life.
First time was after my wisdom teeth surgery and I smacked my jaw on the bathroom counter on my way down.
Tonight was also in the bathroom (I think there’s a sign there…) Continue reading “And then, THAT happened…” »
I saw this over at a blog that my friend from school hosts (which is always an interesting read, since she lives in the Marshall Islands! And her daughter is just too cute for words, always looking forward to seeing more photos of her and the family!).

I don’t know if its because we are doing this together, or if there is something else going on, but we can’t seem to keep our hands off each other. Continue reading “You Gain when you Lose” »
I have had a lot of people ask me if Slimgenics really works, is it expensive and a bunch of other questions, so I thought I would address them in one place, so I don’t have to repeat myself too much. I won’t give exact specifics, but I will give a general overview of the program. Continue reading “My Weight Lost Experience” »
[A note to readers…this is very long, and very emotional, so at times it may not make sense, and I apologize. There is also so much I am leaving out.…I’m just emotionally drained.]
I woke up today missing my phone. It wasn’t on my night stand.
I asked Amy where it was and she said she took it and would only give it back if I promised I wouldn’t reply back to an email I got. Which meant only one thing…my father’s brother emailed me. Continue reading “Blood is NOT thicker than water…” »

I’ve been hearing from other people who were on Slimgenics or other weight loss programs and a common thing I have been hearing is that they all quit or changed programs because they were tired of hearing what they “couldn’t” have. Continue reading “Look on the bright side…” »
