Finally, It has happened to me.….

Right in front of my face and I just cannot hide it,
Finally, It has happened to me, right in front of my face,
my two lips can’t describe it…

Well, actually my fingers can!

CeCe Penniston’s song is totally what I am feeling right now.

As of Last Tuesday, the 29th. We are officially moved in!

OY VAY! I never want to do this again.

Packing everything up was the easy part. Unpacking is the hardest thing to do. You realize how much shit you have and no damn idea where it is to go!

And the problems! The walls are covered in smoke grime (damn smokers). The dishwasher and the washing machine doesn’t work. The whirlpool REALLY needs to be cleaned and sanitized.

But I am very glad we are in a bigger place. My office is put together (Of course that would be the first thing!)

Now to sort through junk and get rid of it all!

Who the hell are these people…

Well, we officially moved in today and I am really pissed off.

We were told Wednesday of last week that all that was left was the carpet, Linoleum and trim. All will be done on Friday.

Nope. They did the Carpet on Saturday. Linoleum is done. Trim is partially done. UPDATE: we did this ourselves a few months after we were fully moved in).

We came in on the weekend to clean it ourselves (to get in quicker—Nice thinking Amy!) and we found that the master bath toilet is missing, patio door is broke, no screen for the patio door, no stairs at the back door, no power to living room/master bedroom/master bath, No water and a few other items. We called Monday morning and the company said it would be worked on and finished by Tuesday morning.

Monday night arrives and Amy goes to drop some stuff off at the new place. Only 2 things were done all day.

We arrive Tuesday. Waited all day for a toilet. Nothing was done. No toilet. (After they said it would be there in an hour!) They say it will be on Wednesday.

How they hell do these people think that we are going to be guaranteed to move in by the 30th, when they HAVE NOTHING DONE!

WHAT THE FUCK HAVE THEY BEEN DOING FOR FOUR FUCKING WEEKS! WE COULD HAVE DONE ALL THIS IN ONE WEEK!

I am so fucking pissed off right now. This is fucking ridiculous.

Sorry for my Fucking French! (but my daddy was a truck driver…my uncle was a sailor)

I LOVE LIFE

This past week and a half I have been depressed and stressed and just down. Mainly because we are waiting to hear if we were approved in the new park we are moving to. Then our Manufactured Home company called and said they needed more info to approve our loan (after they said we were approved) So I was stressed.

Well, We got a call today. We are approved for a loan and didn’t need that other stuff. (One hand had no clue what the other was doing. Maybe they should communicate more.) AND

Drumroll please…

We got approved to live in the new park. So…

They move the trailer next week (UPDATE: was actually 2 weeks later) and then give them a week or two (Try THREE) to put it all back together and stuff and we move in around the end of June!!!!!! (Try July…just barely!)

Thank you all to those who gave us prayers, mojo, vibes, and that crazy voodoo-that-you-do-so well!

Now we just have to get all the down payment money in one place and sign the papers! (Still keeps us in your prayers again, just in case!) (UPDATE: We never officially closed until about a week after we moved in)

So, once we are moved in, I am going to throw a Luau/house warming party in July… more details to follow!

Another Girl Scout Year

Well, yesterday was the 2nd Annual Girl Scout Award Ceremony. What a blast.

We arrived at the park to find out that the pavilion we reserved was completely soaked AND had leaks in the roof. All the tables were drenched. We tried to arrange the tables so they wouldn’t be under a leak. No real luck.

So, I suggested that we check out the only other pavilion there (that no one ever reserves because it is in the midst of trees and usually has a ton of mosquitoes.) It was relatively dry, ‘cept for the small puddle. Only one half of a table was wet and it had no garbage can and only two short tables. (The other one had 4 large tables).

So we decided to use the dry pavilion. We had camping chairs so that wasn’t a problem. Most of the other parents had brought chairs also, so it was all good.

We set up the food and had our scavenger hunt. Everyone wears something… I had a pink chip clip on my pants… and you have to go around and find all the items and get the name of the person. Some of the parents were cheating and comparing notes or having their children go and ask the person’s name.

After that we ate, Amy & Charmin passed out the awards. Then we put on some dance music that I mixed together so the girls could do the Electric Slide, Macarena, Cha Cha Slide and stuff. Then I showed the girls how to do the Running Man, the Roger Rabbit and the Cabbage Patch. The girls were cracking up!

We had so much fun we didn’t realize the rain had mostly stopped and it wasn’t as cold. We really had a great time. I can’t wait for next year!

A Gift

Well, our app to the park is being processed now. We have the entire down payment. My great aunt provided us around half of it, plus is giving it to us as a gift so we can concentrate on furnishing the house, groceries and such. I am so excited. I cannot wait to move… but realize that we are not in the clear yet.

Not much else is going on in my life. We have so much to do this summer. Every weekend is booked. I just want to sleep, but Amy won’t let me…

Can I Get another AMEN!

We saw the new house today.

O.M.G. is it gorgeous. There is plenty of room for everyone.

The girls and boy get split up into their own rooms, Cindy gets her own room and we get our own room and our own bathroom (with a whirlpool!). The kitchen is great, the living room is huge, so is the dining room. And there is a sun room that we can use as a office!! Plus room for a table to fold clothes that come from the washer and dryer next to it!

I cannot wait. It has so much space for us that it is so perfect. I just pray that everything falls into place for us. They are trying to move it and finish the interior work by the end of this month! We could be moved in by June! I am sooooo excited! (UPDATE: we didn’t move in until July 1st. And just barely… read future posts..)

Keep us in your prayers and thoughts!

Can I Get and AMEN and a HALLELUAH!

We just got word that we are approved for a loan for a bigger home out in Circle Pines. THANK YOU JESUS!

We have been trying to get out of this little trailer (the only place to feel like home) for over three years!

So now we just have to come up with the down payment. Please pray for us that we will be able to come up with the money in time.

Again, THANK YOU JESUS!
