We had cowpies for dinner.
No…not those kind of cowpies…
They are actually called Savory Chicken Squares, and they are like a Chicken Pot Pie, but in a square and much better.
My great-aunt Muriel called them cowpies (cause they kinda have that shape) and so the name has stuck.
I like that we are able to still enjoy her favorite dishes, even though she is no longer with us.
